Community Dobbertin

Dobbertin is a community in the rural district of Ludwigslust-Parchim in Mecklenburg Western Pomerania (Germany). The community is being governed by the Amt Goldberg-Mildenitz with the seat in the town of Goldberg.
Dobbertin is known nationally through its monastery Dobbertin.
The villages are: Dobbertin, Kläden, Dobbin, Neuhof, Alt Schwinz, Jellen, Kleesten, Neu Schwinz, Spendin

Dobbertin is situated Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania's largest nature reserve, the Nossentiner/Schwinzer Heide, surrounded by forests, big and small lakes, streams, the moors and heather, an idyllic little village with numerous listed half-timbered and brick houses.
The expansive and untouched forest and heather areas as well as the glacial Mildenitz breakthrough valley have well-developed riding, bicycle and hiking trails.

The community Dobbertin is part of the Amt Goldberg – Mildenitz.
